June Events 2023 in Port Aransas

Summer in Port Aransas is filled with so many great things to do.   Below are a few of the  June 2023 events that I plan to attend and invite you to do the same.

• If art  is your thing then check out  First Friday at the Port Aransas Art Center for  a reception featuring great artists, live music and refreshments.                 104 N. Alister St., Port Aransas, TX.  June 2,   5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  https://portaransasartcenter.org/

• Kids and Adults of all ages love watching and participating in the Belt Sander Races held at The Gaff Bar & Pizza Restaurant.  323 Beach St., Port Aransas, TX.  June 10 and June 24 at 6:00 PM.  https://www.facebook.com/TheGaffPortA

• Attention Ladies:  The annual Powder Puff Fishing Tournament is a great opportunity to showcase your fishing skills and is open to amateur and experienced anglers.   Friday June 16th and Saturday June 17.  Check out their website for more info:   https://ladiespowderpuff.com/

• Music Lovers - Enjoy a live concert outdoors  and a sunset by the water at Roberts Point Park.  301 JC Barr Blvd., Port Aransas, TX.  June 16 7PM - 9PM.  Take a picnic and a cold beverage for free entertainment. https://www.portaransas.org/event/sunset-sounds-with-yosh-%26-yimmy/3282/

• Keeping tradition alive is the "oldest fishing tournament on the Texas coast" and that is the 87th Annual Deep Sea Round Up.  Sponsored by the Port Aransas Boatmen's Association, this event is not to be missed.  June 29th through July 2nd.  https://deepsearoundup.org/
